Considering buying a Prefabricated house with a basement built in 1962. The house has never been renovated.
Wondering about different solutions for renovation in various spaces, kitchen, bathroom, roof replacement, etc.
There are cracks in the surface layer, including in the living room, above windows, and in the wall between the kitchen and living room. Has anyone experienced this and needed reinforcements to avoid further settling, and if so, how did you solve it?
How have you handled window replacement, door replacement besides installing smaller windows and doors?
Switching to a 2-pipe system for heating?
Converted a wood boiler for pellets?
