I have an outbuilding of about 63 m2 where I plan to cast a slab in order to convert it into a stable; the building is constructed on pillars.
I have some questions about this:
How thick should the layer of crushed stone be under the foundation? There is already some crushed stone as a floor that I plan to compact and then lay a geotextile fabric on before the next layer.
How thick does the slab need to be?
Does the edge of the slab need to be thicker than the rest?
What dimension of reinforcement mesh and bars do I need?
