Outdoors, it usually turns out to be worthwhile with the massive posts, i.e., don't glue two beams together. Is it 95 x 95 you'll need to buy?
Sponken: The finished should be 90x90
anaitis: Yes, it will then have to be 95x95
What dimension should the studs be?
I am going to build a 1.8m high fence with cover panel.
I was thinking of placing 3 horizontal nail studs but I'm a bit unsure about what dimension I should use, is 45x70 enough?
Or should it be 45x120?

In what way? My own experience says the exact opposite, if you want to be sure to get warped, twisted posts, you should choose, for example, 95*95... Unless it's because you think it looks ugly: take two 45s instead...anaitis said:
It certainly does, but if you ask 10 "byggnissar," I think you'll get 5 who are absolutely sure that the growth rings should face one way, and the other five would bet their lives that they should face the other way... (It's been hotly debated here on the forum which way deck boards should lay, without reaching a consensus everyone agrees on...) In other words, it's probably fine either way.
