Hello! Looking for suggestions for a porch. Due to the southern exposure, I need to protect the front door with a roof. Would also appreciate building tips as it seems difficult to find an available carpenter. Also wish to have stairs in two directions as before, see the picture of how it looks now. Best regards, Bo
I would copy the window and the decorations around it on a gable facing forward and then try to find a roof angle that harmonizes with the stairs and existing roof. The posts for the roof will be copies of the decorations beside the door. The bargeboards might also receive some form of decorative woodwork, but that's a question until the sketch of the rest is complete.
