Hello!

I need to purchase materials for a water/sewage installation. I need to buy 110 pipes and a polystyrene insulation box. I've heard that polystyrene is supposed to be expensive. Grateful for tips on where to buy materials at good prices, thank you, in the Stockholm area.
I saw a thread below regarding this and they compared the different building supply stores like Bauhaus and so on. But it didn't make me much wiser... it seems like you have to drive around and check, simply. But maybe there's someone who knows a place that sells polystyrene and 110 pipes on sale ;D

Regards, Zunken

(also, any other tips regarding municipal water/sewage installation are welcome)

as usual, Rinkaby Rör (www.rinkabyror.se) is recommended for "the little home plumber"

and http://www.sigro.se

I have shopped at both, and the delivery has been completely satisfactory. 4 days including prepayment. If you also pay at a checkout and fax in the receipt, it should apparently go faster.

Rinkabyrör has very good prices, better than sigro. It's also free shipping :) But I haven't found any polystyrene yet.. :(

What I believe I know is that Dorocell is more expensive than Sundolitt (according to Dorocell themselves). Then I know that there are Jackon and Isover as well. There are probably even more suppliers that I am not aware of.

When I called around and searched, the price differences weren't very significant, I believe; I called Mark- and dräneringsteknik, K-Rauta, and Sandbergs Trä, among others. But for me, the price wasn't the most important factor; I was looking for someone who could deliver the next day as the foundation guys were just waiting for the material.

If you're not in a rush and plan to buy a lot, it is definitely worth requesting quotes from several suppliers!
