Hello!

I made an attempt in another thread, but it didn't go so well, so I'm hoping for better luck in a brand new thread ;)

We will only be in Poland for the day. Arriving in the morning, going home in the evening.

From what I've heard, you can visit a maximum of 2 department stores in a day.

Now I'm wondering which department stores are recommended?

We will be looking at stainless steel range hoods, tiles, and bathroom furniture. Those we are traveling with may possibly look at appliances such as fridge, freezer, and stove.

If I hadn't seen your shopping list, I would have answered Castorama, definitely. Available in both Gdansk and Gdynia.
If you want some cooler bathroom items, tiles, and clinker, I would probably recommend Imez32, (I think that's what it's called). Agena has quite nice prices.

Best regards
David

David:
Do you have any addresses for these tile stores?
Or approximately where they are located, (We have been there, so we know our way around quite well in Gdansk-Gdynia.)

Where is Imez32 located? Is it a large department store?

I will get back to you about Imez32. I'm not sure if I remember correctly. Here is agena anyway.

Lidia Ceglarska speaks English at the office in Gdynia.

David

Edit: Here is Imextop 32 http://www.imextop32.com.pl/
They have a nice showroom.

David: How are these stores priced?

Agena is a bit cheaper, but Imex has a cooler selection. If you're short on time and relatively well-off, choose Imex. It's still much cheaper than Sweden. I've never seen such a selection in Sweden.

Best regards,
David

David.
I saw on the IMEX32 website that they have two stores, one in Gdansk and one in Gdynia, have you been to both and which one is better in that case?

I think we will visit Leroy Merlin and Obi first. We'll see what else we have time for.

Tonight we're leaving! Tomorrow it's shopping!! ;D
