I have read afterwards that there should be a 3mm gap between plywood when building a wall. I have pressed them together tightly, they are 12mm thick. I'm going to put gypsum on top. Will this have any consequences, what can happen? Do I just have to unscrew and redo it or can I be at ease?

Is it a lot of plywood? I wouldn't leave it without gaps, it's unfortunate if it starts creaking and all, but if there's already plywood, I would have used a circular saw in the seams, then you'll get at least more than 2 mm.

It's just one wall, so 5 joints. Smart idea with the circular saw, I should probably try that! So the consequence is a creaking noise.
Should there be gaps between the gypsum boards as well? The gypsum is 12mm thick.

When plywood expands, it has to go somewhere, which usually causes creaking, etc. Gypsum is inert, so I do it edge to edge. But if it's only 5 joints, it might be worth taking it down and doing it right.
