My garage roof is apparently made of foam behind the drywall. Jula no-name plugs or Fischer SX didn't work. The plug doesn't expand behind the board, probably because the foam is resisting. But it doesn't resist enough for the plug to stay... :(

What is recommended??

One or two slices on the ceiling, what are you going to attach

Pre-drill 6 mm and then use Fischer GKM. Supports 20 - 25 kg.

It is 2 x 22mm copper pipes with water in them. :) Fixed every 1 - 1.5m approximately. They weigh about 1kg/m including water.

Couldn't find any GKM with a long enough screw, the clamp is about 20mm thick.

A disc in the ceiling then, a bit thin for different fittings, but use Rawlnuts, a rubber expander that swells up like a ball on the top side. Just drill first with the right size, very carefully when passing through so the plasterboard doesn't break on the top side, and tighten well.

  • Rubber Rawlnuts in various sizes, used for secure ceiling attachments by expanding into a ball shape on the upper side when installed.
The family was passing by Jula, so I purchased Hard Head plastic drywall anchors. 10 for 30:-, and a pack of longer screws. Very satisfied.
