I have a warm storage room where we overwinter plants from our conservatory. (We have plant lighting)
But they haven't been doing well this winter, and I was advised to put foam board on the floor since it gets cold for the roots.
It's a small enclosed room of 3 sqm with 2 exterior walls in the basement.
Fairly dry but not 100%.
Should I lay Platon mat before laying the foam board on the floor, or should I lay it directly on the floor?
I will cover the entire floor with 100mm thick white foam board.
The temperature in the basement is about 18C (the floor is quite a bit colder).
