Plaster + wood board - which plug

Hello

I have a wall that consists of plasterboard and masonite board behind it. What type of plug should I use to hang a heavy mirror? Regular drywall anchors don't work because the wall is too thick and they hit the masonite board when the wings fold out.

masonite is not the best material to fasten into

No, it isn't, but since ts has masonit in their wall, it's hard to choose another better material then.

Well, it should hold in any case, but a mirror that I assume is flat receives a force almost entirely downwards, and then a regular screw should hold well. However, it all depends on how heavy it is and what type of masonite it is.

An x hook with 3 nails holds for 15 kg in just plasterboard.

I thought the masonite was thick as it sits behind a plasterboard and therefore the plaster anchor that TS tried did not work, (probably called something other than masonite but looks roughly the same through a drill hole.)

Where can I find those? I searched on k rauta online but didn't find any.

It should probably be 6 or 9mm masonite if it's behind the plasterboard (original wall panel?). I would use molly bolts/drywall anchors for double drywall. What could happen is that the plug doesn't bottom out, in which case you gently squeeze the "washer" and tap the plug into the wall and switch to single drywall plug.
