I have a room with interior wood paneling throughout where I plan to install drywall. But in one corner, there is brick due to a chimney (which doesn't get warm). I plan to glue the drywall to the brick.

What I'm wondering is if I can have one drywall sheet that covers both the wood paneling and the brick, so that the seam goes in the middle under the sheet, or if I should separate it into two sheets to allow for some movement between the sheets? I don't know how much movement difference between the wood paneling and the chimney the drywall can handle.
