I have removed a non-load-bearing brick wall in an apartment where concrete separates the floors. On the ceiling, there is about a 1 cm thick layer of plaster (which is painted white) on top of the concrete. Where the wall was removed, there is now a 1 cm deep recess in the ceiling. You can see right into the concrete where the wall stood. I have painted a layer of HEY’DI KZ primer and a thin first layer of HEY’DI EXPRESS with some primer mixed in. Since this is very heavy to sand down to an even surface, I'm wondering if it's okay to use filler for the final layer? Or is there a risk that this might fall down if there are vibrations in the building (e.g., if roadworks are being done outside)?

Best regards,
Rickard

Well, it shouldn't fall down. But it depends a bit on how thick it is left to plaster/spackle. If there's more than a millimeter left, I would plaster one more time first. Otherwise, go with spackle.
Now, the product you've used seems to be a cement-based spackle. I have a preference for gypsum plaster for this type of job. Much softer and more malleable. So I would probably have used that as a plaster before the spackle.
