After a lot of consideration around plaster, skim coating, and renovation wallpaper, I've decided that our hallway and staircase should be plasterboarded before wallpapering/painting. Now I'm considering whether we should go with regular 13mm plasterboard or renovation plasterboard. The conditions are:

House from '79
Wooden frame
13mm building board and seaweed wallpaper on top
Studs at 60cm center
Installation will largely be done by me alone (weight matters)
Ceiling moldings, baseboards, and trim will be removed regardless

Which plasterboard would you choose?

Thank you for your answers, I have gotten the same impression from other threads I've read. What is the reason you don't want to use renovation plasterboard? Logically, it should be easier to work with alone due to the lower weight, but are there possibly other reasons why regular plasterboard is easier/better?

6mm plasterboard is terrible and should only be used in emergency situations.

If you're even slightly careless with the drywall screw, it goes through. If you have a surface that is even slightly uneven, the plasterboard is unforgiving.
