Have polished some concrete blocks and plain cast concrete and learned that it is important to choose the right material for it to be easy to work with and to achieve a good result.
Now I am going to plaster a pumice chimney. I attach a board on each side of the chimney, which I then "pull" against, but how thick should the plaster be? Which material? It should have a natural "concrete gray" color afterward - so it should not be painted.
