Paper strip bubbles despite wet room glue!
Hello! Help a poor amateur. I'm putting joint compound on drywall with paper tape in the seams. I've read that if you glue the tape with wet room glue, it's foolproof. Apparently, I'm more than a fool because it bubbles just the same after joint compounding.
- I'm using Byggmax's runny wet room glue
- I apply a tiny bit of compound in the seam where there's a recess before
- I wait 24 hours before applying joint compound

Like the emperor's new clothes...
No one dares to say that paper strips do not have such superior properties at all (especially not when it comes to installation, which many have problems with).
