Hello!
I am renovating one of the rooms on the upper floor of the house. The house is brick with tästomme (standing plank) from 1947. The Tretex boards are coming down, planning to replace them with drywall. On one of the walls (outer wall), there was paper behind the Tretex boards. You can feel it drafts more when the wind blows after I removed the paper.
Should I put up new paper or replace it with another material? I believe I've read that paper should be against cold air and plastic against warm air, which would mean I should put up plastic behind my drywall, is that correct?
I can also add that the wall in this room, on the outside, is brick halfway up and then wood panel. (Gable)
