Hello.
I have attached the first panel board to the ceiling with screws nearest to the wall. I was planning to attach the rest with 3-4mm panel clips. I have previously installed sauna panels, and that worked well, but these panel boards have a tongue that is only 2mm (from Byggmax groove panel).
This means that now the first board, which is up with screws (as mentioned) in the batten underneath, is making the clips too high. 4mm makes them cover the entire tongue so that the next board can't fit into the groove because the clips are in the way.
I just looked for new clips for a 2mm tongue, but couldn't find any.
Alternatively, I could loosen the screws on the first board so I have more room against the batten. This would result in a "floating" ceiling panel hanging on clips, but it doesn't feel right.
What the heck do I do?
