Hello
We are going to renovate the balcony on the house, and we will probably need to cast a layer with the right slope, etc., to make the balcony surface nice.
What type of concrete or leveling compound should one use?
Has anyone done anything similar?
Grateful for ideas!

I'm a bit unsure about the condition of the surface since we haven't finished tearing out everything that was put there in the 70s...
I think the surface is fairly OK, but I guess I'll have to throw the question out there again once I've removed the chipboard flooring....
Thanks!

Hijacking your thread a little...
Is there any nifty waterproofing layer one can cast in if you're going to redo a balcony so it's guaranteed to be waterproof against the underlying space (it's going to be a conservatory underneath).
Platon mat, bitumen mat??
The reason I don't want to put metal/roofing felt on top is that I want a concrete surface on top...
