Hello!
I'm thinking of welding together two 20-foot containers and making a sunroom out of it. I plan to handle this project myself as much as possible, but I have a few questions that perhaps a kind soul could help me with?
I’m not sure, but I've got the idea that steel will attract moisture. I intend to insulate and add a surface layer, but could the steel behind cause moisture to accumulate and seep through? My thought was that perhaps I should treat the steel first? Apply a few layers of barrier paint or whatever it's called and then glue the studs? Because you want to avoid screwing into the steel, right? I'm going to install a PAX fan, so maybe it’s not a problem?
Is there anyone with experience, who might have done a similar project, that can share their insights?
