Hi.. When I am about to put exterior gypsum on my wooden stud frame, how far down should I place the gypsum? Do I start at the bottom edge of the sill or should I lower the gypsum board a little bit over the foundation? Grateful for a prompt response as I'm ready to start... 
Depends a bit on how you intend to proceed with the choice of facade....
My exterior gypsum aligns with the "foundation" (plastered Leca), then battens + paneling were nailed on top of this! The panel goes beyond/below the exterior gypsum about 5 cm.
