Osb, mdf?

Hello!
I'm planning to build some wardrobes and am considering what material to "cover" them with. My idea is to cover a frame around and one side with some kind of board. I will then paint them at the same time as I paint the room.
What type of board do you recommend? MDF? OSB? Can I paint directly on them with good results?

Painting OSB looks like crap in my eyes, MDF can work if you're good at painting.

In such cases, I would take MDF. With MDF, you can also round the edges if needed. First, paint with primer so the edges don't absorb the paint so much!
