Hi
New to the forum. Planning to build an octagon-shaped orangery this summer, 6m in diameter, roof height 3.8. I excavated and prepared last fall, so now it's just a matter of waiting for spring to get started. Now to my question: is 45x70 sufficient as lumber for the walls and roof, or do I need to go up to 45x95? I don't want it to look bulky.

Beautiful and lovely location, was it difficult to get the building permit approved?

No, there was a building on the site that was in poor condition which I took down last year.
