Hello,
I have a wild idea about a 15m2 standalone outdoor room.
Pour a concrete slab.
Weld a beam structure about 5.5m wide and then about 4m deep. 1m overhang on the roof. Then install sliding glass along nearly the entire width, i.e., about 4m wide. Then clad the entire beam system with large corten steel plates 3-5mm thick, including the roof, with a slight slope so water runs down the back and along the corten steel plates to the ground.
Install steel profiles on the inside and then clad with plywood painted black on the inside, with some insulation in the partition wall. Underfloor heating in the slab. Keep the concrete slab as the interior floor.
Intended for use mostly in spring/summer.
What do you think about this idea?
Adding a picture for an approximate appearance of the construction with "overhang."
