Open up for windows between two rooms.

Hello!

I am in the process of installing old windows indoors (see picture).

I have a wall that is 8 cm thick where I need to open up to insert two windows sized 45x115 cm. I've done a test drill and the material is fairly porous (see picture). The house is a turn-of-the-century house.

Grateful for some guidance. How should I best proceed, do you think? Reciprocating saw? Which blades, etc., etc.?

No guidance but it's a really nice idea that was common at the turn of the last century. I also installed windows inside the house when I built new over ten years ago.
