Old foam sealant? No way

Had a new bottle and one from 2011 with foam sealant. The old one collapsed like a sack of hay and had a more golden-brown color. The other behaved as expected. I read on the packaging that the shelf life is only one year.

So that's that. You learn something new every day

2011? After a year, you usually can't even shake them...

The other day I used the remainder of a bottle I started in January. Amazingly, it worked. I haven't tried storing unopened ones, but bottles that have been opened usually have a very short lifespan.
