OK to drill above door trim with respect to electricity?

I live in a multi-family house built in 1946. I believe the wall type is called French walls, like plaster on boards.

I want to drill a hole a few cm above the upper door trim. Is it a place where there might be electrical cables? Should I refrain?

It is definitely possible that there is electricity behind it. If you look at where the wall outlets, switches, and ceiling sockets are located, you can often get a good idea of where there might be cables. Otherwise, a wall detector can be a good thing.
