Offsetting of Load-Bearing - Getting a larger opening between hallway and living room
Hi everyone, my first post on the forum, looking forward to your wise input! 
Facing a renovation and encountered a load-bearing wall (load-bearing post in the area marked with an arrow in the first file, see Metallflyet 1 Plan Section). The opening will be about 3 m wide if I get my way. But I wish to keep the dimensions under 115x315 for the LT-beam to not lose width in the room/lose free height.
I have used the dimensioning tool on construction descriptions and see red for the above dimension. I wonder if the calculation is conservative for my home since we have more load-bearing walls indoors?
Is this something the wise @justusandersson can answer?
