Oak-colored wood glue, does it exist?
Maybe it's this post by marw77 you've seen:ACME said:

Indeed, that's how we did it in woodshop in school even! It also works excellently when renovating outdoor furniture in teak/hardwood that has cracks.John J said:
No, the thread I'm thinking of is older (maybe 1-2 years ago) and it specifically mentioned ordinary wood glue in oak color. Marw77 seems to have used some type of assembly adhesive.Dr.Sofia said:
I'm aware of wood filler, shellac, melt wax, putty, and all those variants, but that's not what I was curious about. Plain old PVAc wood glue but in brown.
In 95% of cases, some brown glue is good enough (disregard furniture/fine woodworking) and it would eliminate the hassle of using white glue and dust.
Right now, I'm typically struggling to come up with specific use cases, but many times both I and colleagues have wished the glue wasn't gray-white. According to my preferred supplier, other customers have also requested this.
Now... it could be about filling a small gap between a quarter-round molding and a threshold, or when you need to glue oak pipe collars that don't fit together 100%.
