Hello!
I am planning to widen the doorway to the living room on the ground floor. The wall is made of 45x95 studs and is load-bearing.
I plan to remove one stud on each side of the current doorway and support it with a 56x225 glulam beam inserted into the studs.
However, my concern is whether I can notch the current studs (including those that need to be removed) and insert the glulam beam to avoid using props, and then remove the studs that need to be taken out last?
I hope my explanation wasn't too vague. If so, please ask, and I'll try to be clearer.

The notching itself admittedly weakens the studs, though it probably shouldn't be a big problem as the beam will likely (?) be in place fairly soon.
But it should be easier to prop up and remove the middle studs rather than notch them on site, put in the beam, and then try to fiddle them out?
If it is cc60, I don't think you need to worry about temporarily removing the prop while you put in the beam, but otherwise, you should be able to "prop crosswise"—rotate the prop 90 degrees (if they are 95x45, then it becomes 45x95 if you understand what I mean), and shift them a few mm, so they clear the Beam and can stay in place as well.
