I have an old farm with Tretex boards nailed directly onto the plastered interior walls. I'm planning to renovate the room now and I'm wondering how to proceed. Is it okay to leave the TT boards in place and then build a new wall about 10mm inside the Tretex? A 45x45 wall with steel tracks at the top and bottom and with wooden studs? Then insulate it while working on it.
Or could it create moisture problems?
It would be nice to avoid taking down the Tretex as it dusts and smokes like crazy!
The initial plan was to screw the frame directly onto the Tretex, but the walls are quite uneven and since I'm going to have plasterboard as a surface finish, it would probably end up too uneven.
Does anyone have any tips?

If you don't want lightweight concrete, you can use träullitskivor instead.
What you were planning to do sounds like mold problems.
