Hello!
I am planning to add an upper floor to my existing house and need to install a steel beam in the floor structure to ensure everything is stable.
Does anyone have ideas on how to easily integrate it into the floor structure and install new floor joists?
I think I know how to do it but would love to hear other ideas. The ceiling on the floor below is not nailed to the old roof truss beams but is lowered by 45mm.
I hope someone is willing to explain how you would do it, even though maybe not all the information is included.
