Hi!
I'm working on an Attefallshus where we want to install a herringbone parquet, single-strip, on a fairly newly poured slab. I've scouted the interwebs and have an idea about the construction, but I'm open to feedback and ideas/opinions.
Thinking of the following construction from top to bottom:
Ventilated skirting.
Parquet.
Insulation mat, like Platon.
Damping mat.
Concrete with water-based underfloor heating.
Can you lay the planks directly on the insulation mat or must/should you have some type of subfloor?
I'm thinking of laying the floor floating and gluing in the joints/tongue.
