Now the following wall has been covered with gypsum filler, then sanded with sandpaper in the range of 120-240 and 320.

I was first recommended to use rolling filler on the entire wall, then the second option was with gypsum filler.

I have tried to sand as well as I could, according to the feel of the fingers and sight before the paint went on the wall, everything felt even and fine.

Now that the sun is shining and the paint is on, lines are visible where I used the gypsum filler.

Do I need to scrape off the paint and continue with sandpaper even in size 400? Or are there other ways to even this out?

My final goal is an even white wall.

  • A painted wall with visible lines and subtle texture differences due to gypsum filler application and sanding, showing slight imperfections in the finish.
  • White wall showing subtle lines from gypsum filler application, with uneven texture visible under sunlight.
I think you've used too fine paper, I rarely go finer than 120. You're just rounding off the edges and not getting any material removal.

Should I use coarser paper?

I use 80 grit sandpaper, the paint fills in the "scratches" from the 80 grit.
Sanding between coats of paint can be suitable with 180.
