Hello folks!

I would need some tips on how to proceed with this addition.

The idea is to insulate the floor with 90mm foam as this room has insulated walls and ceiling but for some reason lacks insulation in the floor. My plan was to place an additional 45x45 on top of the existing 45x45 so it becomes 90x45 instead. Where there is an old basement staircase, I thought to further reinforce with double 90x45. That is, 90x90.

What should be the cc measurement for the beams?

The beam that will support the floor by the wall above the basement stairs, do I remove the inner panel and attach it to the standing beams on the wall? Currently, it looks like the beam was a simple 45x45, should I use a thicker dimension for this?

Unfortunately, I don't have much height available; I can raise the floor a maximum of about 5cm, hence my idea to use double 45x45 to avoid an unreasonable height difference to the house.

Is there anything else I haven't mentioned that I should consider?
