Hello, if you were to buy a pre-cut frame and assemble it yourself, how long should the nails be, and what type of nail?

Yes, I know, but I thought I read somewhere that a nail should go 2/3 of its length into the fastening material, but maybe half is enough It won't be the only nails/screws holding the house together

That's right for galvanized wire nail and the hammer for the nail gun, you have nails with glue and manage just like house manufacturers with 90mm.
