What does the image from the träguiden mean? It looks like the edge beam is fastened with 3 nails from the outside into each beam (those with the straight line/a T). I was thinking of using a 90mm nail gun. But what do the dashed lines with a dot and a cross mean? Are they additional fastenings and if so, which ones?

Could be that they should be nailed from the inside.

Hmm ok. As an alternative to straight from outside, or both?
Let's see if anyone else can come up with suggestions…

I'm thinking like this, seen from above.

Reinforcement on the drawing is shown in roughly the same way as the nails in this case. Dot = towards you in the image, cross = away from you in the image.
So I also choose to believe in the theory of skew nailing from the inside.

Okay, then it would be drawn as 3 pieces skew-nailed. 2 pieces from one direction and one in the middle from the other direction? But does that mean one should use a total of 6 nails for each beam? 3 straight out from the exterior and 3 skew-nailed from the inside?

There is a comment "Beams and edge beams skew-nailed." but they have written that before concerning attachment to the sill (instead of using angle brackets). I don't know if they are referring to what I'm asking now since they don't even mention the three nails straight from the exterior.

Besides interpreting what they mean, how is it typically done in general?
