Mouse stop / Mouse protection for horizontal paneling..
hello everyone,
We will start cladding our house with horizontal paneling in a few weeks.
The builder says he can nail it up and it will still ventilate - but since we're going to have 200 mm glulam panels, it will be a bit tighter than usual (we think) and we don't want to go with that solution.
Anyone have good tips on a solution?

If you are going to use 28*70 as the nail battens, you can place a 22 mm split panel board at the bottom between each nail batten on the wall, which will leave you with only a 6 mm gap, the minimum required for a mouse to get in. At the same time, air will get in. Otherwise, you have the alternative with so-called musband.

I used museband when I built my friggebod. I think it is a good product. It is quick to install and it becomes both tight and airy at the same time. http://www.tjb.se/TJB_Museband.pdf
