I have bought a mirror for the home gym in two parts where each part is about 1.5x2m, and apparently the mirror should be glued to the wall. But I feel a bit hesitant about only using glue, I'm considering if I shouldn't use a trim at the top and bottom or what does the expert panel say, how should I mount the mirror?
Here is a picture of the wall, the tracks will be removed before the installation.

The problem with the glue isn't that the mirror falls off, but that you'll never remove it without damaging the wall... If you want to be able to remove them easily, you can of course place them on a ledge, or use another mounting solution, such as those classic bathroom mirror metal brackets...
If you don't care about removing the mirror, just glue it on...

These small mirror clips are unlikely to hold such a large mirror that might weigh 30-40kg?M mlkjhr said:

The ones where you have to drill holes in the corners are probably a bit too risky.
What options do I have from the link?
An alternative solution could be to glue the mirror onto some kind of board that is slightly larger than the mirror, and screw the board into the wall. That way, it becomes a bit easier to remove if one would want to do so.
That's what I was thinking too, I'll see if I find an edge strip that I can mount at the bottom, if not, I'll probably just go with some kind of board that I mount and then glue the mirror onto.B Bassrunner said:
