I was thinking, as the title suggests, about mounting my TV on the wall. I have an extendable arm that will hold the TV. The TV weighs about 17kg. I wanted to ask how stable it is to mount something on a lightweight concrete wall and what type of screws/plugs I should get.
Best regards, Mattias

How nice to have another question about mounting a TV, but now in a new material, this could be exciting
Below you can see the discussions that can arise when mounting a TV on OSB.

Do you have a link to the bracket you will be using?

Has the TV been mounted on the wall? What type of plug was used?
Tore down a TV while I was working. The idiot had mounted it with 4 mm screws, no plug!!!
Both the TV and the Blu-ray player underneath got broken.
My company refused to pay, say what you will but how can someone be so stupid to mount like that. It became an expensive lesson for him on how a TV should be mounted in lightweight concrete.

If anyone is curious, I mounted our TV with these https://www.fischersverige.se/sv-se/produkter/allmaen-infaestning/laettbetongplugg-gb/50491-gb-8
A bit overkill maybe, but I feel pretty confident that the TV won't fall to the floor.
Lightweight concrete is stable, it just doesn't like point loads.M Mabjo said:
A bit like foam, easy to push in a nail but if you press evenly with your palm on foam it will be completely rigid.
Something that tends to become super stable is to glue regular nylon plugs with PL or MS Polymer adhesive. Some fastening can be done with thicker wood screws directly without plugs. However, nothing with motion and mechanical "wear".
