Is there a good solution for a pitched roof where part of the roof structure can be used as an attic or even a sleeping loft? Span 7.2 meters and slope max 27 degrees. That is, some type of truss where the highest space isn't filled with a lot of framework.
It is fine to use glulam beams or a similar material (kertobalkar/masonitbalkar) with the correct dimensions considering snow load and span. A support leg in the lower section can reduce the dimensions. It depends on how the section looks.
