I have drilled and hammered the molly in, then drilled out the screw slightly. But then I see that the molly plug comes out. It doesn't want to attach. What am I doing wrong?

Have you tightened the screw so that the Molly has expanded on the backside?

Have you expanded the molly with a molly tool? Is it the right molly for the board thickness? What do you mean by "drilled out the screw"?

You need to make it expand at the back.
Easiest with pliers for the purpose..
It can be done by screwing in the screw, but it usually results in it spinning and messing up the wall.

You don't seem to have expanded the back of the plug yet.
How to do it:

I did that, but when he hammered the molly into the wall, it sticks directly. It doesn't do that for me.

have you placed a molly for double drywall in a single drywall?

it can also be that the molly is too close to the corner stud, in which case the molly cannot expand as it should.

Don't know! Got the molly to expand now, but the screw still doesn't go in and stay there.

This is how it turns out. Does anyone know why?

The screw is too short for the thick regel.

Does it need to go far in for it to hold, then?

You already know how far it must go into the plug before the screw finds the thread.

But jem and fix no longer had screws longer than the molly plug itself. Must find a screw that is 4 cm longer than the molly plug that fits into the plug.

Or you can choose a thinner stud or countersink the screw into the stud.
What are you attaching that makes you choose such a thick stud?

I've placed all the other screws in the studs (they were easy to see). But at the very end of the wall on one side, there is no stud, so I need to use a molly plug.
