Hello
I have a mold problem and hope someone on the forum can give me tips and opinions. Last year I started extending the summer cottage. I managed to erect the frame, put underlayment on the roof, and lay tar paper to make it watertight. I put paneling on all the walls (except on one wall where I instead put up a tarp). I left the window openings open. There is still no floor – so it is completely open at the bottom. You could say that more ventilation is hard to achieve.

So that's the situation – now to my problem:
I was at the cottage last week and saw that there are quite a few black spots on the inside of the roof sheathing and partly on the top of the framing. This is strange, I think, since the roof is tight and the ventilation is, as I said, good. Does anyone know how this is possible? Could it be that the humidity has been so high that mold can grow even if it’s not wet? The summer/fall was quite rainy and the winter hasn't really happened (more like a damp fall all the time)? Can it be stopped with something like Mögel-Fri, or should something else be done?

Grateful for opinions
Gurano
