Moisture barrier on outdoor stairs
I have just finished building a staircase up to the porch. The staircase will be completely outside the roof. The construction is solid with lecablock. The next step is to make a small overlay on each step to get the heights correct. After that, I would like to waterproof the staircase to prevent rainwater from penetrating into cavities and bursting the staircase.
Does anyone have tips on suitable materials/brands for outdoor waterproofing?
Finally, slate tiles will be placed on the steps.

Hi,
Old post, but I'll take a chance!
What did you decide to do in the end and how did it turn out?
I'm at the same stage, staircase bricked up and trying to figure out the next step.
Thanks,
Fredrik
