What does the junction between the wall and ceiling look like in such a construction?

Facade of a wooden house with vertical paneling and a steep metal roof, featuring a large window.

I am working on designing such a house and have found some different proposals for the construction, but all have a ventilated attic, something I have understood is no longer needed if it is an airtight house.

I found a promising principle sketch! It is a 300 mm light frame structure with vertical cladding
Cross-section diagram of a house showing wall and roof construction layers, including insulation, panels, and airflow systems for ventilation.
But I would need some help with the construction of the junction between the wall and ceiling, how do you ventilate behind the cladding (vertical cladding) while ensuring that rain or snow doesn't get behind the cladding?

Any ideas?

The simple answer is that one does not build houses without eaves in the Swedish climate.

One variant is to have vent holes at the top of certain panel boards that are covered on the inside with insect mesh made of aluminum.

Ok, so you mean drilled holes that are covered on the inside with mesh? Sounds smart!

Yes.

How was it resolved?

Hi, I'm also curious about how things went with your eaves. I'm just about to build a house and need to decide what we're going to do with the eaves right now. :)
