It works perfectly to float the floor instead of using plaster.

If you lay plaster, glue it against the sheet metal and joists. For a rigid floor, you can also glue the sheets to the joists. Just make sure that the glue/filler does not damage the sheets.

Unfortunately, I cannot achieve the building height with regular plasterboard, so it will be renovation plasterboard. The first room is laid and the seams were taped with duct tape, otherwise nothing special was done. The floor is completely solid.
