Hi!

I am in the process of insulating the ceiling in my garden shed and cutting up studs for the insulation compartments. When I measure the lengths of the studs, they always end up a bit too long. I measure the lengths with string and tape markings, but I always end up having to saw off half a cm at a time before the stud fits into the ceiling. The angles on the ends of the studs are measured with a bevel gauge to fit the wall and the roof ridge. It turns out well in the end, but it takes an endlessly long time for each ceiling stud.

I simply don't understand how to measure to get the right length of the stud from the start.

How do you actually do it?

Hope someone can help me!

Two strips that you overlap, slide out and mark.
