Hello!

In our basement of a 50s house, it looks like this by the outer walls, for example, in the laundry room and other space.

We re-drained the house two years ago and are now planning to address it internally as well but are unsure of what is best for the house. We do not live in the basement, it is only used for storage and as a laundry room, a purely cold cellar.

How should I best proceed to fix the walls and what should I use for mortar/paint/tools? I'm completely green in this area but thought I’d give it a try.
