Hello
I need some advice. I am going to build a platform about 130 cm high with a surface area of 130x130 cm that needs to support just over 2 tons (spa). It will not have any support from a wall, only from a nearby wooden structure. I don't know how to construct it. I wanted to pour foundation blocks and build up with wood, but other so-called "hobby experts" have said I should pour all the way up with concrete pillars or build all the way up with Leca. Anyone who has a good suggestion/experience or knows how much wood can handle, feel free to write a line.:S

With sturdy wood, it's possible to make it hold securely. But keep in mind that wood has a tendency to rot, which leka or a cast wall does not.

Wood works excellently but the problem is the risk of tilting if the water splashes a lot. But if you can build, for example, 2.5 X 2.5m then it's a different matter.

Trucks do drive over wooden bridges so wood certainly holds if it's dimensioned for it.
