A difficult-to-navigate market where I am now looking for a strip to place between a cabinet wall and a refrigerator. We have a space for a refrigerator in an old house. Previously, the refrigerator was smaller, but when we bought a 125 cm high Gram, we removed some shelves and got about 125 cm in height just adapted. The Gram is starting to become unreliable, the light doesn't turn off, etc., so we've been looking for a suitable new one. Found a Gorenje at Elgiganten. Not many built-in options unless you want to put a door on the outside! However, it is only 54 wide, not 55 as standard. The problem now is finding a strip of something like silicone that I can wedge between the cabinet wall and the refrigerator. The strip should be 1 cm thick for the space, be at a 90° angle, extend about 1-1.5 cm over the cabinet wall on the outside. Is there anyone who has a good piece of advice? (Thinking of wedging a 10mm chipboard between the refrigerator and the cabinet wall to stabilize the refrigerator!)
