Hello!
We have acquired a stainless steel container that we plan to use as a storage unit. We have realized that the door currently in place is too large/cumbersome, impractical, and in short, we simply do not want to use it. Instead, we want to cut an opening on the opposite side of the container and install a regular storage door there. Now to the question:
How do we go about making the hole for the door in this material? Is a saw, angle grinder, or something else needed?
All tips are greatly appreciated :)

I would have chosen vinkelslip.

A stainless steel container is devilishly expensive, I wouldn't have cut it up. I would have sold it and bought a regular 20-footer. But if you now want to use the one you have, I would have rebuilt the front and taken off the container door.

We bought it extremely cheaply but it's a good idea to take the door off. We hadn't thought of that. Maybe we should do that and build a frame for the storage door. The container only has one opening which is the current door, I forgot to mention that. Otherwise, it would involve cutting with an angle grinder, I suppose. Thanks for the tips!
